Big congratulations to Cecilia for receiving Research Council of Finland Center of Excellence funding for Immune-Endothelial Interactions (IMMENs)!

The funding was awarded to a team of four researchers from University of Helsinki and Åbo Akademi University, led by Taija Makinen (UH) and completed by Guillaume Jacquemet (ÅAU), Cecilia Sahlgren (ÅAU), and Kari Vaahtomeri (UH). The project will run for the period of 2026-2033 and explore the interactions between the lymphatic endothelium and immune cells during localized immune response. Read more here.
